About Inspired Chaos Studio

Many people in the area remember our store, Artizan, where, among other things, I sold handcrafted jewelry, fan pulls, and sun catchers. I've always enjoyed the process of creating—whether it's music, theatre, jewelry, or something else. Creativity begets creativity, and the notion that I have an opportunity to make things that others want to wear or own is appealing.

The Inspired Chaos brand was created during the year Artizan was open. In fact, it was a customer-inspired endeavor. Someone who frequently visited our store once asked if I had any multi-strand beaded necklaces. None of our artists did that kind of work, except for multi-strand pearls. After we discussed what she was looking for, I set about sourcing materials and components and made the first torsade under the Inspired Chaos label. From there, the collection grew! The store has since closed, of course, but I enjoyed creating jewelry, so I decided to continue it online. This is largely because there is something therapeutic in this creative process. Beads and supplies are a passion (some might say condition), and I collect them from around the world to put the Inspired Chaos line together.

I am proud of this growing collection (my goal is to make 2-3 pairs of earrings per night). I hope you enjoy browsing, buying, and wearing as much as I enjoy creating.
